ABOUT US

A Little About Me
I was first introduced to CrossFit back in 2009 as a part of our normal “PT” while spending two years with the Canadian Armed Forces as an infantryman. Although i didn't know i was doing “CrossFit” style workouts at the time, i got totally hooked on the feeling of pushing the absolute limits of the human body and the confidence that comes along with working at that level.
Fast forward 2 years to my very first “official” class at Superior CrossFit. After being totally humiliated by watching pretty much every girl in the class overhead squat way more than i could I decided i was going to dedicate myself to the sport that has slowly shaped my life into where it is today.
Perhaps more simply put, I fell in love with human movement! I’ve spent the past 5 years watching thousands upon thousands of repetitions and performing thousands more. Every day brings new challenges and every athlete has a different struggle whether thats internal or external. Either way, my job is to rectify those issues and make the most of your time in the gym to keep you motivated to keep pushing every day!
In just over 7 years since i first got my ass handed to me by Warrant Officer Murphy back in the Army days I've had the absolute privilege of working with hundreds of athletes of various ages, sizes and fitness levels ranging from professional and semi-pro athletes, NCAA athletes, hockey players, soccer players, doctors, kids, accountants, physically disabled individuals and stay at home moms.
There is one major principle that i believe applies to your training, your nutrition, your lifestyle, whatever spiritual beliefs you may have and everything in between. My philosophy is that you are either working towards the things you desire in your life, or your not. It really is that simple!
